Numbers 26:62-64

New International Version

⁶² All the male Levites a month old or more numbered 23,000.^(A) They were not counted^(B) along with the other Israelites because they received no inheritance^(C) among them.^(D)

⁶³ These are the ones counted^(E) by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab^(F) by the Jordan across from Jericho.^{(G) 64} Not one of them was among those counted^(H) by Moses and Aaron^(I) the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Desert of Sinai.
